At the heart of Doula4Care LLC is one woman’s deep passion for mothers, babies, and the sacred journey of birth. Gail Williams, the founder and owner, has been walking alongside families for more than 12 years, helping them find strength, comfort, and community during one of the most transformative times of life.
Gail became a doula even before becoming a mother herself. Her journey began with a calling: to make sure that Black, Latino, and Indigenous mothers—so often overlooked or underserved—could feel seen, supported, and empowered as they brought life into the world. Over time, she has grown Doula4Care into a safe space that offers not just birth support, but wraparound care that nurtures the whole person.
Through Doula4Care, families can find:
Doula support tailored to each mother’s unique needs
Childbirth and postpartum education to feel prepared and confident
Mental health resources and coping skills for times of stress
Breastfeeding support for nourishing beginnings
Birth and postpartum planning to envision the experience each family deserves
Access to donated baby items for mothers in need
Art and self-care activities to restore and recharge
Gail believes that when mothers are surrounded with knowledge, resources, and the steady presence of a doula, birth outcomes improve—and mothers feel empowered to claim the birth experience they envision.
Although she once worked as a very active in-person doula, Gail has gracefully transitioned her role into one that reaches families virtually. Today, she continues to guide parents through childbirth education, personalized birth plan support, and as a doula facilitator, she connects other doulas with families who need them most.
Her work doesn’t stop there. Gail has also created DV 101, a domestic violence workshop designed to equip doulas, midwives, OB-GYNs, and other birth workers with the tools to support families navigating intimate partner violence. This work is deeply important to her—because safety, compassion, and dignity are vital for every mother.
Behind every service Doula4Care offers is Gail’s vision: a world where every mother, especially Black, Latino, and Indigenous women, is given the care, respect, and love she deserves. Gail knows that birth is more than a medical event—it is a profound life passage. And her mission is to ensure that no mother has to walk that path alone.
At Doula4Care, the journey is not just about birth. It’s about building community, creating space for healing, and honoring mothers as the powerful, capable beings they are.
