Want to acknowledge the month of April as Volunteer Appreciation Month. Doula4Care would not be where it is if it weren't for my amazing volunteers that are part of the D4C Team. I want to take a moment and highlight each one of my volunteers and get to know them.

Hispanic Latina born and raised in Arizona - Remembering her indigenous roots. I believe in repair of the world and I embrace spirituality. I became a practicing 'doula' at age eight, observing and guiding each family's dynamics as a young babysitter in the neighborhood. Since then, I have countless experience working with children of all ages - infant to teens. Now at age thirty three, I have resigned as an elementary educator and K-8th substitute teacher after twelve years of being in the classroom. To now transition to becoming a community health worker with aspirations of obtaining doula and midwife certifications.

Taking all that I have learned - I am able to apply teaching with creativity in arts through my business Creative Keepsakes LLC. Humble gratitude to where I am now. Shalom.

Peace. Love. Light.
